Between 2019 and 2023, NanoSanguis implemented a project co-financed by the European Funds entitled “Development of a significantly improved device for normothermic organ perfusion in the field of transplantation.”

The aim of the project was to significantly enhance the device for organ preservation and transportation by developing a new design concept, modernizing materials, the device’s structure, components, and electronics.

As part of the project, a prototype of an innovative, significantly improved device for organ storage and transport was developed. The effectiveness of this solution was confirmed in pilot experiments involving ex vivo perfusion of kidneys, liver, and heart.
