As part of its strategy to expand international relations, NanoGroup has recently established a series of connections in the Gulf region. Countries in this area are actively developing their biotechnology potential and are highly open to collaboration on breakthrough medical technologies.
Visit to the United Arab Emirates
At the invitation of the UAE Deputy Minister of Health, the NanoGroup team participated in the ICPM medical technology fair. During the event, the NanOX system was widely recognized as the most innovative solution showcased at the fair.
The visit led to a series of meetings with representatives of the UAE and investment funds from the region, culminating in the signing of two letters of intent regarding future cooperation. NanoGroup representatives also met with the Crown Prince of the Emirate of Sharjah, the third-largest emirate in the UAE.
One project that drew particular interest was the Temporary Blood Substitute, an extension of the NanOX System aimed at intravenous applications in emergency situations. Given the current geopolitical climate and the need for dual-use (civilian-military) solutions, this project garnered significant attention from both the medical sector and institutions responsible for public safety and crisis management.
Meetings in Oman and Saudi Arabia
At the invitation of the Ministry of Health of Oman, Przemysław Mazurek met with the team responsible for the national kidney and liver transplant program and the head of the Investment Authority of the Omani Ministry of Health. The NanOX technology, which extends the storage time of transplant organs, was highly appreciated and recognized as a potentially significant advancement in the development of transplantation in the region.
Additionally, the visit to Saudi Arabia included meetings with representatives from the medical sector and investors, opening the door for further discussions on developing and implementing NanoGroup solutions in collaboration with local entities.
This Middle East trip reaffirmed the growing interest in advanced biotechnological solutions in the Gulf region. CEO Przemysław Mazurek announced further initiatives in this market, not only focusing on the NanOX System but also accelerating the development of other NanoGroup projects.
Expanding into international markets is a key step in strengthening NanoGroup’s position as a leader in innovative medical technologies. Collaboration with government institutions and investment funds from the Middle East can significantly accelerate the development of NanoGroup’s flagship projects and their future commercialization on a global scale.
