“Scientist of the Future” is an award granted since 2016 by the Intelligent Development Forum, which aims to honour outstanding scientists, investors and organisations conducting scientific activities – including basic research, application research and development work
The aim of the “Scientist of the Future” Award is to discover, publicize and appreciate the work and attitude of the authors of research that may have a beneficial impact on the future of social life in its various areas.
– Being nominated for such a prestigious award is not only an honour, but also a recognition that you will persistently strive to achieve your goals – says Professor Ciach.
The projects carried out by Professor Ciach within NanoGroup in the field of nanotechnology, biotechnology, which have a significant contribution to the development of modern medicine and transplantology, are in line with the idea of the Intelligent Development Forum. Tomasz Ciach is not only an outstanding scientist, but also a visionary who, with passion and determination, transforms groundbreaking ideas into real medical solutions.
Professor Tomasz Ciach himself says that he is not only a scientist, an innovator, but also an entrepreneur who wants to change and improve the world. His passion, commitment and hard work definitely lead to this. Recent research conducted at Nanosanguis, covering many hours of extracorporeal storage of kidneys, hearts and livers, has shown that the use of synthetic oxygen carriers allows not only for long-term storage of organs, but also for their regeneration outside the animal body. This is a revolution in transplantology.
The final list of competition winners will be announced in autumn 2024.
