Selection of a Contract Manufacturer for the NanOX 4 Kidney Project
As part of project FENG.01.01-IP.02-1136/24 – “NanOX 4 Kidney – A Next-Generation Kidney Perfusion Fluid Based on a Synthetic Oxygen Carrier” – a process is underway to select a contract manufacturer for a Class III medical device intended for ex vivo organ perfusion. This stage is crucial for moving from research and development to preparing the product for implementation and commercialisation.
The procurement procedure is being conducted under Request for Quotation No. ZO/FENG/2026/02/06, published on the Competitiveness Database on 27 February 2026.
The process is currently at the stage of receiving bids from potential contractors. The scope of the bids includes, among other things, technological support for the manufacturing process, analytical services and preparation of the necessary documentation. Due to the high volume of enquiries from bidders and in accordance with the applicable procedure, the deadline for submitting bids has been extended from 31 March 2026 to 7 April 2026.
The procedure is expected to be concluded shortly after the submission period closes and the bids have undergone a detailed assessment against the established criteria.
Selecting the right contract manufacturer is an important step in the further implementation of the project. It will help ensure manufacturing process consistency, compliance with the regulatory requirements applicable to Class III medical devices, and the mitigation of technological and regulatory risks in subsequent stages of the work.
The process is being conducted with the utmost diligence, in accordance with the principles of transparency and equal treatment of all bidders.
Transparency towards the Company’s shareholders remains one of its key priorities. The Company will announce the outcome of the procedure promptly after the bid evaluation process has been completed.
At the same time, the Company plans to publish further requests for quotation on the Competitiveness Database in the coming days, covering non-GLP and GLP preclinical studies in a large-animal model. These procedures are an important part of the project’s further development and will focus on confirming the safety and efficacy of the solution under development.
